Vincent Ledesma

Vincent was born and raised in Arizona. After graduating high school in 2017, Vincent enlisted in the US Army as a Military Working Dog Handler. He completed military working dog (MWD) school and was stationed at Fort Hood in Killeen, TX. In 2018-2019 Vincent was assigned a dual purpose narcotics MWD where he conducted law enforcement activities in close collaboration with CID. In 2019 he was reassigned to a dual purpose explosive detection dog, performing numerous Secret Service Missions controlling large venue sweeps, route clearances, and methodical inspections of Airforce One’s landing zones, protecting the President, Vice President, First Lady, and countless American lives. In 2020, he deployed with his dual-purpose MWD Blake to Saudi Arabia, where they were attached to an Infantry Battalion belonging to the 36th Infantry Division, serving as an explosive detection assist and Kennel Master, leading four MWD teams overseas.
